Weekly Design Inspiration: Interior Fall Favourites

You didn’t think we’d neglect sharing our fall favourites for your interior, did you?

Redecorating to bring warmth into your home as the days get cooler is one of my favourite things to do! When we think fall home decor, we often think highly saturated reds, yellows and oranges. Bringing clippings of greenery & branches into homes that we design throughout the year is a great way to accomplish this.

While injecting fall colours is for some, it’s not for everyone. Incorporating a muted colour palette can be equally as beautiful and compliments nearly any interior. Fall decor is about adding lots of texture!

The use of scent is a powerful and emotional element within your home. When I think of fall, my mind goes straight to warmer scents. Try to find natural soy wax candles with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, sandalwood and/or cedar. The second your guests walk through the threshold of your home, they will be greeted with warm cozy scents.

A simple way to add fall decor to your living space is by switching up your throw blankets and pillows! By incorporating a warm colour pallet with textured blankets and pillows, you can transform the feel of your space. I could definitely see myself sipping on apple cider and watching a movie in this space!
