Candles

Obviously! Candles are an easy way to make anyone happy. Who doesn’t love candles?! Light one of these babies and your house is instantly cozy and smelling like absolute heaven; and, you can never have enough! Choose a candle in a cute holder so you can reuse for other purposes later - multifunctional! I reuse the empty glass as small planters for succulents, or reuse them as glass votives for new candles.

Throw Blanket

Useful and beautiful. Throw blankets are a great gift. Who doesn’t love something that keeps them warm and cozy? Not to mention, they can be used in most rooms in the house, so you don’t have to worry about the recipient having to find the perfect place for your present. A beautiful throw blanket is a surprisingly thoughtful gift to give, guaranteed that your loved ones will be associating warm fuzzy feelings with your gift for years to come.

Alcohol Related Anything

This ones a bit obvious. Buying a loved one high quality wine glasses or other bar necessities is great because it’s not something that people usually spoil themselves with! Beautiful wine glasses and decanters can make a beautiful focal point in a bar corner and look great on show. Don’t forget to match it with a delicious bottle of wine!

Serveware

A perfect gift for the hostess with the mostest. A beautiful cheese or charcuterie board will make anyone’s day - and a perfect excuse to drop around at a friends house with cheese (nicely paired with the wine we mentioned above). Opt for a high quality wood or marble for a high class look. Don’t forget to check with local vendors and artists to see what they have on offer because it’s always great to support local businesses.

Indoor Plants

I’ve said it once and I will say it again - indoor plants are awesome home decor additions, and even better gifts! Indoor plants help clean the air by removing harmful toxins and pollutants, and they’re pretty! Opt for a low maintenance plant when gifting, unless you know that your loved one has a green thumb. Make sure to take into consideration how much light your loved one has in their house so you can purchase accordingly. When in doubt, opt for a plant that thrives in low light.

If you’re buying for someone with a ton of plants already, consider a nice planter, hanger or plant stand to showcase their prized plants.
