Weekly Design Inspiration: Master Bedrooms

Your bedroom is where you spend some of the most important hours of your day - getting in those precious zzz’s after a long day of work or play.

Although most of your time spent here is fast asleep, I’m a strong believer that your bedroom is an important place to focus your attention on when designing your home. Your bedroom should be your safe haven, where you go to feel relaxed and refreshed.

I love the neutral colours and wood tones in the gorgeous bedroom. The neutral tones create a calming atmosphere with no major focal point to keep your mind distracted while trying to fall asleep. This room ties all the aspects in perfectly to create a comfortable space.

I love the calming soft blue and white colour scheme of this bedroom. Did you know that soft blues have a calming effect when used in paint colours? What more could you want in a bedroom?!

I love the mix of natural finishes and bold patterns in these bedrooms! I could definitely imagine curling up with a good book in front of that fireplace!

If you want to liven up your bedroom, why not inject a splash of colour with some soft furnishings and decor. With a blank canvas bedroom, you can mix and match colours as your heart desires, without overloading your mind with distractions before bedtime.
