Weekly Design Inspiration: Living Rooms
I don’t know about you, but I spend a lot of time in my living room. Some may say that I “live” in there (pun intended). Bad jokes aside, our living room is where we relax after a long day, it’s where we binge watch our favourite Netflix originals, it’s where we entertain guests and family. It serves purposes beyond watching TV, like a makeshift home office when you’re feeling under the weather, folding laundry and wrapping Christmas presents - a lot of living really does happen in this room.
So it makes sense to stamp your personality all over this room while making it warm and inviting.
I love how cozy this living room feels, while still maintaining clean lines and not feeling any kind of clutter. This room has been kept pretty symmetrical, and everyone loves a fireplace?! And what about this chandelier!
What’s not to love about this living room?! Love the high ceilings and wooden beams! and that fireplace?! I love how this room has been set with the main focal point being that beautiful fireplace rather than the TV. All the natural elements of this room really tie it all together, and I love the use of light colours without it feeling or looking too stark!
Uhh hello!? I can’t even put this living room into words. Should we start with that view?! WOW.
Love the shiplap ceiling and of course the beams. This room feels so light and airy yet so comfortable and cozy. I literally just want to curl up and read a book here!
I can’t get enough of this one. Views on views on views. I love how everything in this space ties together.
A perfect example of stamping your personality in your living room! This mid-century styled living room is too cute. The skylights make this living area feel so bright and you all know how much I love natural light.
So much personality in this living room! I love the accessories on display and the splashes of colour across the room. It adds some interest and texture without feeling too overwhelming.
Greenery is a must! Indoor plants clean the air of pollutants, but did you know that they also reduce stress and anxiety?! They’re such a quick way to add a pop of colour and make any room feel bright and cozy.
I love the shiplap walls and of course the fireplace (check out those tiles!) Did you know that every room should have a touch of black to ground the space; try it out!
