Beach House 2 Project

This one bedroom beach house is so adorable and if you could only see the view. I swear I could reach out and touch the water it is so close and beautiful.

The clients had a few pieces that they wanted to keep, but many new items were brought in.

The blue sofa was in place when I arrived so it was my kicking off point, and worked beautifully with the blue water just outside.

I brought in a few other primary colours; red and yellow that paired well with the blue. This space gets lots of use so slipcovered furniture is the perfect solution for ease of living as they can simply be removed and washed at any time. Because it’s a beach house, I love to incorporate natural elements so the wicker chair was another great addition to this space. It’s warm and inviting yet neutral.

In the kitchen area, I introduced a new table that can be extended when guests are over and more space is required. The white table adds a brightness to the space and I love the red chairs. They compliment the other colours within this open concept space and they are durable and comfortable to boot.

In the bedroom, I carried the blue and white theme throughout with bedding and another cozy chair for curling up to read a book on a rainy day.

The bathroom was spruced up with new accessories; shower curtain, towels and a new bath mat and they provide lots of colour, interest and texture.
